The IK Multimedia TONEX Pedal Bass Edition is a powerful compact modeler designed for professional bassists. Equipped with 150 tone models and cutting-edge AI Machine Modeling, it delivers stunningly realistic amp and cab simulations tailored for low frequencies. Its high-quality 192 kHz/24-bit converters and USB interface ensure pristine sound both on stage and in the studio. With built-in reverb, compressor, noise gate, and ToneEQ, plus full MIDI control and expression pedal support, it integrates smoothly into any modern setup.
The pedal uses VIR (Volumetric Impulse Response) technology, offering cabinet simulations with up to 2400 IRs for immersive mic placement and acoustic detail. Presets can be managed via USB and the ToneX Editor, while real-time tone shaping is possible with intuitive onboard controls. As part of the ToneX/AmpliTube ecosystem, it allows seamless transfer of tone models between devices and platforms, from iOS to PC to pedalboard. The included ToneX MAX software and the 1.5 software update unlock even more creative flexibility.
