Snugpak The Bunker Tent is an iconic three-person dome basecamp and expedition tent that will shelter you from the worst four season weather.
Pitching the tent is straight forward and quick, with the flysheet erected first and the inner tent then attached from the inside. The use of 3 DAC Featherlite anodised aluminium poles in a crossing pattern, provides structural integrity and stability, ensuring the tent remains steadfast even in strong winds and adverse weather conditions.
The flysheet itself is manufactured from 210t polyester lightweight ripstop fabric with a waterproof polyurethane coating with a hydrostatic head of 5 metres. This combined with the seams being fully taped, provides an outer shell that is impervious to foul weather.
To improve ventilation and protect against biting insects and unwanted wildlife, the inner tent is manufactured from 190t polyamide fabric and No-See-Um netting, with an integrated bathtub style groundsheet that provides protection from penetrating damp on wet ground. This spacious inner compartment of 245cm long by 205cm wide comfortably accommodates up to three individuals, offering ample room for sleeping bags, gear storage, and maneuverability. In an emergency there is space to accommodate up to six people sitting down.
Equipped with multiple access points, including two doors and two vestibules, The Bunker tent offers convenient entry and exit options whilst facilitating easy storage of gear and equipment. Additionally, the tent's versatile configuration allows for flexible setup options, adapting to various terrain and camping preferences.
