Plant it in between other taller growing xeric (low water) perennials to form a nicely colored carpet that will spread and root as it grows. Spanish Stonecrop is a good companion plant for Sun Dancer Daisy (Hymenoxys), small growing beardtongues (Penstemon), and cold-hardy cacti (Echinocereus).
