The SPID-PROX-V is a vertical rigid proximity card holder for thick HID proximity cards and other 70 to 90 mil access cards. It is built for cards that are thicker than a standard 30 mil CR80 ID badge, including HID ProxCard II style clamshell proximity cards.
The clear frosted rigid plastic keeps the card visible while helping protect it from bending, cracking, and daily handling damage. The holder material does not interfere with normal prox card readability, so compatible proximity cards can be tapped or presented at access-control readers without removing the card from the holder.
The side-load design includes top and bottom retaining tabs to help keep the card secure, plus a center thumb notch for easier card removal. Slot and chain holes allow attachment to lanyards, badge reels, neck chains, strap clips, and other standard badge accessories.
