Experience the artistry of Japanese craftsmanship with the Black Okubo Scissors by TOYAMA HAMONO. Handcrafted by artisans in Sanjo Niigata, Japan, these scissors embody tradition and quality.

Established in 1861, TOYAMA HAMONO draws inspiration from the manufacturing methods of Japanese swords (KATANA) to create exceptional gardening shears. The razor-sharp blades of the Black Okubo Scissors are perfect for precise cuts, making them ideal for pruning branches, roses, flowers, and houseplants.

Crafted from stainless steel, these shears are resistant to rust, even in high-moisture environments. With a maximum cutting capacity of 10 mm in diameter, these scissors are versatile for general garden maintenance tasks.

Please note, these shears are designed for cutting plants only. Cutting other materials or using the product in an unreasonable manner may cause damage. After use, it's recommended to wipe off any dirt, especially on the blades, and store the shears in a box or dry location. Protect the blades from rust by wiping them with cutlery oil (or sewing machine oil).

Each pair is hand-forged and sharpened using traditional methods, resulting in variations and irregularities that add to the unique character of each tool. Made with stainless steel, these scissors are durable but require proper care to prevent rust. Remember to wipe them clean and dry after use, and if storing them for an extended period, consider oiling them.

An amazing adventure
Format: Paperback
I read this book because I’ve walked a very small portion of the Camino and was interested in what an additional 900 miles would be like. Beth’s descriptions of the day-to-day challenges did not motivate me to find out for myself, but I was very glad to experience it through her. “Walking” was well written in that I felt as though I had actually met all the interesting people along the way and shared their conversations and meals and beers. When Beth and Eric finally reached the end, I could actually feel their bittersweet finale. I highly recommend this book because it shares not only useful information if you decide to walk the Camino, but it also shares what Beth describes as a huge part of the experience, the camaraderie of all involved.

A Very Enjoyable "Glad it was you!" Story
Format: Paperback
I had a great time reading this outloud to my husband by the electric fireplace while Beth and her husband treked across France and Spain in all kinds of weather and discomfort. The journey was captivating, lovely, and hilarious all at the same time. As Beth mentions, it was not a "walk in the park" and there were many times I was glad to NOT be in her shoes, even though I envied her escaping the daily technilogical rat race we all struggle with. It did leave me wanting to go on a hike...in the sunshine....on level ground....nearby. I highly recommended the book for stress relief and enjoyable reading.

I didn’t know a book could be this fun..
Format: Paperback
This book has been sooooo much fun since the second I opened it. Im a beginner at all of this. Just finished yesterday getting my first virtual machine up and running. Now I’m learning the different terminal commands. The book is literally a step by step guide. If you can follow instructions, and are brand new, this is a great book. Having ChatGPT open while I’m going through it has been very helpful. It’s nice to have a deeper understanding of certain things. I’m also not using windows or my primary OS and decided to learn Kali. I actually cannot wait to wake up in the morning and start working on chapter 3.
