This is a vintage 1970s boho peasant dress by Mel Warshaw Miss Jane Miami. This dress features an elasticized peasant neckline with decorative string bow at its centre and a softly gathered bodice with long raglan sleeves finished with elasticized cuffs. The wide patterned waistband defines the waist and flows into a full-length skirt accented with coordinating folkloric border and motif prints.
The fabric has a soft stretch and fluid drape consistent with a polyester jersey of the period; however, no fibre content label is present. The dress closes with a nylon zipper and a hook at the back (corresponding loop is missing). The dress is unlined.
