Lavandula angustifolia ‘Elizabeth’ is an upright English lavender with very silvery leaves and thick, deep purple flower spikes. It forms a tidy evergreen shrub that looks good even when it’s not in bloom and holds its shape well through the season.
The flower spikes are heavier and more substantial than many English lavenders, which makes them especially good for cutting. They work beautifully for fresh bouquets, dried arrangements, wreaths, and craft work because they keep their color and structure after harvest.
We planted ‘Elizabeth’ in our fields in 2022, and it has proven to be a strong, reliable grower with consistent flowering and excellent color.
