How to care for Echeveria derenbergii hybrid
Sun/Location: Like most of Echeverias, Echeveria derenbergii hybrid requires indirect bright sunlight to maintain the color and shape form. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight. Shade is required in summer to avoid sunburn. In winter, it is needed to protect soft succulents from freezing temperatures and grow them indoors. Click here to learn how to care for succulents in summer.
Soil/Pot: To ensure the health of succulents, they need porous, well-draining soil to live in. Repot succulents in TNG Organic Cactus Soil Mix and add grit such as coarse sand, perlite, or pumice to make it even easier to drain.
Watering: Rosette succulents prefer desert conditions; they will tolerate a period without watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak-and-dry method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry.
