Ergonomic for parents and baby
Your baby will be supported in the froggy-legged, C-shape spine position that is ideal when being worn. ERGObaby worked closely with the International Hip Dysplasia Institute to be sure that all ERGObaby carriers are acknowledged as hip-healthy for babies. Your baby’s weight will be distributed evenly between your hips and shoulders which is essential for your ergonomic support - especially during activities.
Designed specifically for activity
The ERGObaby Performance carrier does just that -- performs -- right down to the design. This carrier is durable and the tapered, padded shoulder straps are perfect for long hikes or walks with baby comfortably in tow.
3 carry positions
With simple adjustments, you can carry your baby on your front and facing you, on your back facing you, or on your hip facing you. Back and hip carries are recommended for babies with good head control.
Made for infants and babies 7-45lbs
The ERGObaby Performance Carrier can ergonomically hold infants and babies ranging from 7lbs all the way up to 45lbs. An infant insert (sold separately) is recommended for newborns and infants from 7lbs - 12lbs.
Reinforced stitching
You can be certain that even while exercising, your baby will be safe and comfortable with ERGObaby’s reinforced stitching at all fabric intersections on the Performance Carrier.
Adjustable straps and waistbelt
No matter who is wearing your child or how quickly your child grows - the adjustable straps and waistbelt will ensure that you get a comfortable fit every time. The straps measure from 24” - 44” in length. The waistbelt measures from 29” - 55” in length.
Storage pocket
No need to carry extra baggage on your hikes, the ERGObaby Performance Carrier is equipped with a zippered storage pocket right on the front panel!
Adjustable hood
Perfect for giving your baby head support or blocking out the sun, the adjustable hood in the Performance Carrier folds up when you are not using it and snaps into place when needed.
