Some orchid species from this genera are also blessed with a pleasant scent. Like other epiphytic orchids, Oncidium orchids are usually planted onto the bark of trees, such as oaks and palms. They are not parasitic and do not take away minerals from the tree, but absorb moisture and nutrients from the air. Needs modification to work correctly.

It is okay, but the brushes fall through the holes' making them hard to retrieve. The only way to get them out of the holder is to pull up on the bristles or push the handle from the bottom. Both don't work well. My solution is simple, just install a "stop" below the holes. My solution is ugly but works. It took me about 15 minutes to modify.
