91 – 105 days. Maverick Series geranium seeds are an adorable, compact, and vibrant addition to grow in any home or garden. Maverick Series seeds grow hardy 12 – 18” bushy geranium mounds tidy enough for indoor gardening, yet robust enough to keep outside during the long summer months. Maverick Series geranium seeds promise dazzling 4 – 6” lush blooming clusters atop robust stalks certain to excite any garden, fresh cut arrangement, or bouquet. Maverick Series geraniums are durable and easy to grow from seed, ideal for indoor containers and pots or for a charming border around the flower bed or walkway. 100 seeds.

Growing Maverick Series Geranium Garden Seeds

  • Taxonomy: Pelargonium x hortorum
  • Seed Type: Annual (Perennial in zones 10 – 11)
  • Sow Indoors or Outdoors: Maverick Series geranium seeds can be sown directly after the frost but, for earliest spring blooming, begin indoors 8 – 10 weeks prior. Geraniums can be quick to germinate between 5 – 7 days without any need of light. Geraniums are just as popular indoors as they are out and many gardeners will transplant the seedlings into moveable pots to store the plants away for winter.
  • Days to Maturity: 91 – 105 days
  • Hardiness Zone: 3 – 11
  • Planting Depth: Plant 2 – 3 seeds ¼” deep
  • Plant Spacing: 15”
  • Growth Habit: 12 - 18” tall mounding upright with a 15” spread and enormous 4 – 6” clusters of classic geranium blooms
  • Soil Preference: Organically rich, medium moist, well-drained
  • Light Preference: Full sun - Partial Shade
  • Diseases/Pests/Troubleshooting: Maverick Series geraniums are known to perform in poor soils and gardens prone to heat and drought. Deadhead plants into the summer to promote further blooming. Avoid overwatering because plants are susceptible to mold, root rot, and leaf spots if not properly drained or ventilated. Watch for caterpillars on outdoors plants and aphids and whiteflies on indoor ones.
  • Color: Signature choice of Appleblossom, Coral, Quicksilver, Star, Salmon, Scarlet, Violet, Orange, Red, Pink, White, and Mix

Pelargonium x hortorum is member of the family Geraniaceae and is mistakenly given the common name “geranium” in North America though not actually being a geranium at all. There is some division among American horticulturalists and hobbyists as to whether or not to refer to the plant by what it looks like (“geranium”) or by its true taxonomical name (“pelargonium”). Pelargonium was first cultivated in the 16th century near South Africa and has thrived as a purely ornamental variety with countless societies dedicated to its cultivation.

Great shorts but that tag...
I would give these shorts 5 stars if I wasn't insulted by the tag. They're durable, lightweight, comfortable, and they fit perfectly. I've had them for more than a year and they still look and feel like brand new. I bought two pairs but I will never buy anything from this vendor again. The size I ordered was 2x. Look at the tag. Way to go guys. Thanks for instilling confidence and buffing my self esteem. Hey Amazon, I went back to add something and you chopped me in half. I went from 6 foot tall to 3 and it won't let me fix that. Please take care of this error.

Great for Camping
I bought these for my kids to use when camping. They loved them. They are very lightweight and comfortable. They dry quickly also. Sizes are strange. Ordered a 32-34 on one of them and it said 3X on the tag, but they did fit like the proper size. My kids liked the zippers on them also. Good price too.

Not bad for mountain biking.
Although these are not categorized as mountain biking shorts, I bought them specifically for that purpose when riding on hot summer days. It is a well-made apparel with high quality material and accurate sizing. I've worn it on countless rides and has held up very well. Despite the number of wash cycles these have gone through it hasn't shrunk, faded or ripped. It still looks and feel as it did when new. Overall, I’m satisfied with these shorts and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for mountain biking or any other outdoor sports you may be into.

Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking
Color: Green/Black
I love this watch despite the fact that it is really a toy. I love the look of the watch, I love how lite the weight of the watch is on my wrist, and it really does keep good time if you manage the solar charge properly. Other than looking cool on your wrist, this watch has absolutely no functions other than time keeping. The black plastic bezel is molded into the case and does not turn, so don't plan on using that. The watch has no light, the dial numbers are non-luminous and the hands are very limited in terms of luminosity. No buttons. All you can do is adjust the time and date by pulling out what used to be a winding stem in the good old days. The small tag on the strap with Geographic coordinates shown on it indicate the location of the old Timex manufacturing facility (SW of Waterbury, CT). I have a nice ledge at my bedroom window and it gets good western sun for a good part of the day regardless of the time of year. On this ledge you will find a half dozen solar powered watches (mostly Casio) properly aligned to maximize the charge they may receive each day. Note that the description for this Timex watch specifically states that a lightbulb won't charge this watch. You need direct sunlight for several hours if you want to get more than a 3-week charge into this watch. So, I'll leave you with a couple of tips, my friends; 1.) If you are looking for a first watch to give your outdoorsy oriented Son or Daughter, then give them this one. Why? Because it is cool looking, fairly well built, and it actually works, 2.) After you receive your Timex watch, be sure to keep the display mount it is packaged with. It makes a great fixture to mount your watch on for charging and allows you to maximize the position of the solar cells on the dial so that you can optimize charging time. Have Fun! Jimmy
