The pot features a side hole for adding water and three netted "legs" that help draw water from the base to the roots - the substrate must be in the netted legs for this to work.

With ample drainage holes, this pot promotes healthy roots and reduces the need for frequent watering. The base is easy to remove when empty, but may be harder to detach when full of substrate. Ideal for houseplants, herbs, and indoor greenery.

NOTE: contrary to popular belief, plants do NOT "drink what they need" in these types of pots. This pot is designed to keep the substrate damp like in semi-hydroponics, so we highly recommend using porous media such as LECA, pon, perlite, or a chunky mix. This pot can sometimes be used with finer substrates for moisture-loving plants, but we urge you to keep a close eye out to prevent root rot.
