Monstera deliciosa, también conocida como planta de filodendro con hojas perforadas o "planta de queso suizo", es una planta tropical popular debido a sus impresionantes hojas. Esta planta pertenece a la familia Araceae y es originaria de América Central y del Sur.
Es fácil de cuidar y difícil de matar.

Aquí algunos consejos para el cuidado de la Monstera deliciosa:
Ubicación: La Monstera deliciosa prefiere luz media o luz indirecta. No exponga la planta a la luz solar directa, ya que esto puede quemar las hojas.

Humedad: La Monstera deliciosa prefiere una humedad alta, por lo que es importante pulverizarla regularmente con agua. Se limpian las hojas con un paño húmedo para eliminar el polvo, desbloquear los poros y permitir que respiren y absorban la humedad.

Sustrato: La Monstera deliciosa prefiere un sustrato rico en nutrientes y bien drenado. El sustrato debe mantenerse siempre húmedo, pero no encharcado. En general, se recomienda regar la planta una o dos veces por semana, según las condiciones ambientales y la estación.

Fertilizante: Se utilizará un fertilizante líquido y se aplicará una vez al mes durante la temporada de crecimiento (primavera-verano).

Temperatura: La Monstera deliciosa se desarrolla mejor a temperaturas entre 18 y 27 grados Celsius.
Los ejemplares más jóvenes o juveniles no presentan hojas con la fenestración característica de esta especie, pero esta aparecerá a medida que se desarrollen.

Algunas hojas pueden presentar defectos mecánicos, pero estos no afectan la viabilidad de la planta. En condiciones de cuidado óptimas, las hojas nuevas se desarrollarán normalmente.

It won't filter light all that great and even though it stands on its own, it can be blown over easily - but for the price? Excellent. If I wanted a heavy duty, thicker, more expensive one, I would've bought one. The 2nd one is on the way. Perfect height, no weird smell, nice and light and easy to move around.

It’s really pretty decent except for one thing.

I bought two of these for my basement and they do look great. They were easy to assemble and I’m happy with them. The problem is that the stitching on the fabric panels are almost the size of a machine basting stitch (which for non sewers means large temporary stitches). Because the panels are tight by design, the stitches had already started to come undone before I could finish assembling everything. Fortunately I can sew and I reinforced all the panels. I had to take the first ones back off the poles to do them but I did the second set before assembling. It’s really not a bad product for the money. It’s quality fabric and the design itself looks great. The stitching looks fine but it’s just not substantial enough for the purpose it is supposed to serve. I can’t imagine why it be sewn so insufficiently. I was able to resolve my issue because I can sew. I wasn’t planning on sewing nor did I really have the time. I could have made it myself but I didn’t want to and that is why I purchased this. I ended up using valuable time. The really unfortunate thing is, I have no other complaints. This is a manufacturing problem.
