As I know from my own pain (I killed my own favorite Aloe Vera plant by overwatering), aside from good light, the most important factor in growing this plant is to use free draining compost and only water when the plant has completely dried out.
The plant stores its reserves of moisture in a clear gel like substance within its leaves - and for millennia it is this gel that has been used directly on the skin as a salve - to extract it is as simple as cutting off a leaf and slicing it in half!

Germination Guide
- Prepare a seed tray or individual pots with a moist, gritty, free-draining compost. Gently firm down and level the surface. Scatter your seeds over the surface, taking care not to sow them too thickly
- Potting mix should be moist but not wet
- Gently sprinkle a thin layer of vermiculite or fine grit over the seeds, covering the whole surface of the compost. Leave the pot in a greenhouse or on a warm windowsill, loosely covered with a clear plastic bag to preserve soil moisture.
- Seedlings will develop within a few weeks. Remove the plastic bag and water when the compost becomes dry, but spray the surface with water regularly, to keep it moist.
- Transplant / pot on the seedlings carefully the following spring using seedlings to avoid the spikes
- Fill around the seedling with compost and water well. Add more compost if necessary and then use the spoon to arrange gravel around the seedling. Keep in a sunny spot such as a windowsill, and pot on as and when you need to.
- Allow the compost to dry out completely over winter to reduce the risk of rot.

Best in the series!

Let me start off by saying that The Deal - which was book #1 in the Off Campus Series was one of my top 5 picks of 2015. I could go on about the ways I loved that book, but I won't do that now---read my review here for a refresher.
I wanted to add that because The Score is now officially my favorite book in the series. This story completely SLAYED me! I was not ready for the level of TRILLNESS* Ms. Kennedy was going to be bringing to this story. what I want
This is Dean's book. You'll remember him from The Deal and The Mistake. He was the privileged. exhibitionist roommate of Garett, Logan and Tucker. In this story we learn that there is so much more to Dean that meets the eye. Allie is also a throwback character from The Deal- she is Hannah's best friend and roommate. We catch up with Allie as she is ending things with her on again/off again boyfriend. She goes to the house shared by Garrett and Co in search of a safe haven while she gets over her break up. She ends up getting much more than she bargained for.
Dean is drop dead gorgeous and knows it. He is used to women being a very easy field to navigate. Allie is tricky because she is Hannah's friend and because she really doesn't seem to want more than one night with Dean. looking at him
Dean pursues Allie pretty relentlessly and when she finally gives him an opening, he is determined to bust it wide open and get his girl. Watching the relationship develop between Dean and Allie is so sweet. There are moments that even weeks after reading the book make my heart beat a little faster to think about. We see the unexpectedly tender moments between these two where you get the feeling that they even surprise themselves. They fall in love with each other and once that train leaves the station there is not turning back whatsoeevr. You really get the sense that in Allie, Dean has found a women he never expected to...someone who is as honestly sexual as he is. like me
As with the other stories in this series, the sex is off the charts hot and the chemistry between the characters is palpable and exciting. Ms. Kennedy has a refreshingly modern and feminist approach to sex and relationships and it makes the characters VERY likable. Just like his roommates, Garrett and Logan, Dean has met the woman who makes him want to forsake all others. These young men find more than just love in these stories. They also find the courage of their convictions and make major decisions that will affect the rest of the their lives.
There is a big family dynamic in the story that introduces to Allie's father and Dean's family as well. We get to interact with some recurring background characters from the previous books. One of them, plays a HUGE role that let me feeling like I'd been punched in the gut. I was crying and asking "why" for so long after I finished this book.
Dean was such a pleasant surprise. He was not perfect by any means, and there are moments where you will feel disappointed in him. But he works hard, loves hard and has the desire to be a better person every day. I LOVED him. I loved Allie for hm and I absolutely LOVED this book. I would give it 5 more stars if I could.

This was a great read!! I love Dean and Allies story, the backstories that are implemented, and how much the characters grew.
I did feel a little sorry for Sean even though I shouldn’t. The growth, spice, and story was a good read.
Highly recommend! Now onto Tuckers story!!

This mattress cover is great! Well worth your money

This mattress cover is so comfortable. I am scheduled for back surgery in a week so when I find something I can sleep on and call it comfortable you best believe it is! It fits well, it’s pretty and it’s very fluffy. Seems to be made very well. I am confident that I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.

Very Comfortable - Love this!

So far, so good! I am going on my first night trying this mattress topper out. It feels very comfortable and definitely is fluffy, but not too fluffy. I did not "fluff it out" or put it in the dryer to fluff it out quicker, so perhaps it still needs some time to fluff out some more. It was very easy to place on my mattress. I didn't have to fight with it as I normally would when fitting a sheet to my mattress. I love that it stretches over the sides of the mattress to hold it in place. The bamboo truly gives a cooler effect, which will be very helpful in the summer time. I used a microfiber mattress topper prior to ordering this topper. So far, the comparison is that this one appears to be well made and durable, unlike the microfiber one I had before that changes color as it gets old and dirty and is impossible to clean. The old one actually ripped and would constantly move. I am excited to see how well this one holds up over time. I had no trouble placing a fitted sheet over this mattress topper. I love that this one is machine washable and is able to be placed in the drier. It feels very nice on my legs and is comfortable for my back as well. The padding doesn't feel thick or bulky but definitely adds a softness that is super comfortable. It's too soon to tell if it's water resistant as I haven't tested that feature out yet. I placed it over an old, springy mattress and it truly feels like I have a whole new mattress. Time will tell how well this product does the job and I will update this review if I end up having any issues with it.

IT'S LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD!!

OMG I AM SLEEPING ON A CLOUD!!! THIS! Life changing!!! We went on a Royal cruise and asked for a mattress topper. When we got home I just had to find one for our bed because I sometimes find it to be too hard. Along comes THIS topper! The very first night it was on the bed I slept the entire night without tossing / turning which I NEVER do! Along with every night since! It fits perfectly on our King bed and no issues with the sheets. It does have a chemical smell when you first open the bag - but I put it in the dryer on air only and the smell dissipated in about 20 minutes. No smell at all by the time we went to bed. it appears to be washable. It's very soft so there isn't really any back support. Just adds comfort to the bed. It is bamboo and really as soft as a cloud! Even my husband got into bed the first night and said AHHHHHHH SOFFT! Super bright white appearance. Not sure if it is water resistant. We added it on top of the mattress protector without any issues. All of the FOAM mattress toppers are terrible! They end up getting really heavy, you can't wash them, they get lumpy, and you end up sweating like crazy on them! THIS - nice and cool! And my hubby runs hot!! I call him the heat miser! No issues! We're both very very pleased!! If you're even thinking about purchasing - ADD IT TO YOUR CART NOW!
