Wow, what a picture this giant Olea Bonsai is! It is a magnificent olive tree that catches the eye everywhere because of its height but also because of its beautiful trunk. This trunk is proof of years of growth and stability. Olive trees are known and appreciated worldwide for their fruits (the olives) and for the summer atmosphere they bring with them. The olive tree originally comes from the Mediterranean area around the Mediterranean Sea, so it is used to a warm climate. However, this Olea Old Skin is hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -7!

Care & tips Olea Bonsai - 300cm

Like all other types of olive trees, the Olea Bonsai is very easy to take care of. However, it is important to place it in a sunny spot. Because the sun in the Netherlands is sometimes not enough, it is important that the olive tree gets all the sunlight it can get. Pay attention to this when choosing a location. It is also important not to water the Olea too much. This topper needs sufficient water, but a water surplus can be fatal.

Water requirements of the Olea Bonsai - 300cm

The Olea Bonsai needs quite a bit of water. Olive trees are already quite thirsty types but a hefty 300cm tree like this one needs even more than a small variety. Because the tree needs to be in a sunny spot, it will also evaporate a lot of water. The more the sun shines, the more water it needs, so watering in the summer months is considerably more than in the winter months.

Light requirements of the Olea Bonsai - 300cm

The olive tree is used to the Mediterranean climate where the sun almost always shines. Sunlight allows the plants to develop well. So it is really important that the Olea Bonsai gets a sunny spot. Because the sun shines less in the Netherlands, all olive trees have more trouble developing. The Olea Old Skin does not need to be indoors during the winter months, as it is hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -7. If the temperatures drop below this, we recommend a special tree cover.

Is the Olea Bonsai - 300cm a poisonous plant?

The Olea Bonsai is absolutely not a poisonous tree. However, we advise you not to consume or incorporate the first olives or olives already hanging on the tree when you buy it.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
