Winsta Herbicide FMC

Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP is a powerful, water-dispersible (WP) herbicide manufactured by FMC Corporation, formulated specifically to provide pre- and post-emergence weed control in rice fields. With an effective combination of two active ingredients — Bispyribac-Sodium and Bensulfuron-Methyl — this herbicide stands out as a reliable solution for managing a wide spectrum of weeds in rice cultivation.

Whether you are managing annual weeds or dealing with more challenging perennial weeds, Winsta 30WP offers long-lasting results that enhance the productivity and health of your rice crop.

Key Features of Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP

Dual Active Ingredients for Broad-Spectrum Control

Winsta 30WP uses a combination of two potent active ingredients:

Bispyribac-Sodium (18% w/w): An ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor, bispyribac-sodium disrupts the production of essential amino acids like valine and isoleucine in weeds. This action prevents cell division and ultimately stunts weed growth.

Bensulfuron-Methyl (12% w/w): An AHAS (acetohydroxyacid synthase) inhibitor, this active ingredient complements bispyribac-sodium by halting amino acid synthesis, thus interfering with the metabolic processes vital for weed development.

Systemic Action

Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP is absorbed by both the leaves and roots of weeds, ensuring thorough translocation within the plant. This means that even if the weeds are not directly contacted by the spray, they will still experience effective control, offering a higher level of efficacy.

Selective for Rice Crops

One of the unique selling points of Winsta 30WP is its selective action in rice fields. The herbicide is metabolized quickly by the rice plant, meaning it doesn't cause harm to the rice crop while effectively controlling the weeds around it.

Flexible Application Timing

Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP provides flexibility for rice farmers by offering both pre-emergence and post-emergence weed control. This means it can be applied before weeds emerge or after they have already sprouted, depending on the needs of your field and the weed pressure you are facing.

Mode Of Action And Selectivity In Rice

Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP works as a systemic herbicide, meaning it enters the plant through both the leaves and roots, then translocates throughout the entire plant. This mode of action is crucial for ensuring effective weed control, especially when weeds are in early stages of growth or are difficult to target directly with surface sprays.

The herbicide's selectivity for rice crops is achieved due to its rapid metabolism within the rice plant. Rice plants are able to break down the herbicide quickly, preventing damage to the crop while still effectively managing weed populations in the field. This selectivity allows farmers to use Winsta 30WP without worrying about unintended harm to their rice, making it a dependable tool in integrated weed management strategies.

Weeds Controlled by Winsta Herbicide FMC

Winsta Herbicide FMC is known for its broad-spectrum weed control, addressing a wide variety of weed species that can be problematic in rice cultivation. The herbicide is effective on:

  • Annual grasses (e.g., barnyard grass, water grass)
  • Perennial grasses (e.g., elephant grass, cogon grass)
  • Sedges (e.g., yellow nutsedge, purple nutsedge)
  • Broadleaf weeds (e.g., duckweed, water spinach)
  • Other problem weeds found in rice fields, such as Echinochloa, Cyperus species, and Ischaemum species.

How To Use Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP Effectively?

Proper application is crucial for the best results when using Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP. The herbicide can be used effectively during both pre-emergence and post-emergence stages, depending on the type of weed control needed.

Application Rates and Guidelines

  • Pre-Emergence Application: Apply Winsta Herbicide FMC 30WP as a broadcast spray to the field before weed seeds have germinated. This helps prevent the weeds from sprouting and taking hold in the field.
  • Post-Emergence Application: When applying post-emergence, make sure to target young, actively growing weeds. For optimal results, apply the herbicide when weeds are in the 2-4 leaf stage of growth.

I don’t mind a cliffhanger,
Format: Kindle
but I dropped at least one star because of the obnoxious gloating of the author after the cliffhanger. Seriously - I don’t understand making your readers angry because you’re smug and expecting them to keep reading your books. I was very definitely enjoying the series. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth and mixed feelings about continuing the series.

The series as a whole so far 5/25
Format: Kindle
I read reviews before going into this book and I don't agree with one of the more harsh ones on the main trigger she had. It is stated clearly in the forward and it wasn't as blase as it was made out to be. It definitely is touched on more and hasn't just been brushed off as the series goes I definitely would recommend reading it. It's a good series just be for-warned I like the series as a whole. The characters are awesome I adore the fmc shes cute and adorable but also a badass. Though there are a bunch of holes for her that I feel like just got left out. The guys are interesting and shout out to yall for not making Gage a dragon. I'm tired of the broody ones who don't wanna talk aboit what they are being Dragons. Ki is my favorite You can definitely tell if is written by 2 different people though because the phrasing just doesn't match up and wouldn't be something people that age says. And it flip flops between them. I feel like there's substance without substance. We are 4 books in and we don't really know much back story on literally anyone more than right under surface deep. There are definitely favorite MMCs which is kind of disappointing since some get shoved to the wayside. Specifically both of the best friends. They're basically useless and it's made obvious as the books go on. As well as all the men are ungodly self deprecating. I enjoy the plot line for the most part like I said I enjoy the series its different and refreshing. I do feel like the series is being dragged out though unfortunately. And the latest cliff hanger was just meh. So hopefully the next book is the last one.

Wow!
Format: Kindle
This book was awesome! Seraphina and her family have moved to a new town. Her family is a bit... odd. She grew up learning how to protect herself from people who might hurt her. Bloodshed is a daily occurrence with her brothers and parents during their practice sessions, and it’s all fun and games unless you need to hide a body. Sera’s family is very close, and she’s been homeschooled most of her life. But in this new town she is going to start regular school as a senior at the local high school. Unfortunately, things at her school aren’t all they seem to be. Or perhaps more than they seem to be. Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well. This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."
