It produces immense, dark, near-black velvety pendant leaves with brilliant crystalline white venation, capable of exceeding several feet in length on well-grown climbing specimens. Leaf size and quality increase dramatically with vertical climbing support and overall maturity. An elevated position is essential to allow the pendant leaves to hang freely to their full length.
