Sedum dasyphyllum 'Minor' is a delicate and highly decorative indoor succulent, prized for its tiny, round leaves that form a dense, textured carpet. Its blue-grey foliage, sometimes tinged with pink in strong light, adds a soft, mineral touch to succulent arrangements.

Origin: This species is native to Europe and the Mediterranean region, where it grows in rocky crevices and very well-drained soils. The 'Minor' cultivar is distinguished by its particularly compact size.

Growth: Moderate growth. It develops slender, creeping stems covered with very small, fleshy, rounded leaves that are bluish-grey to pale green. Over time, it forms a dense and delicate carpet.

Flowers: Occasional flowering. It may produce small, star-shaped white to pink flowers, appearing above the foliage on thin stems.

Light: Requires bright, direct sunlight. Excellent light promotes compact growth and can enhance the pinkish hues of the foliage. An efficient grow light can also be used.

Watering: Water only when the soil is completely dry. Like all succulents, it tolerates drought very well but dislikes overwatering. Reduce watering frequency when growth slows down.

Substrate: Use a very well-draining succulent potting mix, ensuring excellent root aeration and preventing any stagnant moisture.

Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and animals.
