This extremely rare, elegant, and botanically completely new Alocasia 'Sabrina' (also often known as 'Sabrina Narrow') is a true find for tropical plant collectors! It is a recently discovered species from the forests of Sulawesi (Indonesia), distinguished by its elongated, distinctly arrow-shaped leaves and deeply wavy edges. Visually, its leaf shape closely resembles the famous 'Jacklyn' variety, but unlike it, 'Sabrina' leaves are absolutely smooth and glossy, further highlighting the dark green color and expressive veining. Moreover, its neat stems are luxuriously spotted, reminiscent of zebra stripes! Currently, it is a small young plant, but with proper care, it will grow into a breathtaking, vertical, and architectural houseplant that will add a luxury-class natural accent to any interior. It is an exclusive, somewhat demanding, but rewarding gift for experienced plant lovers and rarity hunters!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For this unique and rare plant to develop its elongated leaves and spotted stems, it requires a large amount of light. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will quickly burn and fade its beautiful leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is an absolutely excellent choice.

  • 💧 Watering: Regular but extremely careful! Here lies the main secret of young plants: the small seedlings are very sensitive both to drying out and overwatering. Keep the soil evenly lightly moist, but allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. It absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which will very quickly cause root and stem rot.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and literally adores very high air humidity! Since this is an exclusive and tropical seedling, a humidifier or plant terrarium is almost essential for its survival and flawless appearance. In dry indoor air, its leaf tips will quickly brown and the plant will become susceptible to spider mites. Strictly protect it from cold drafts!

  • 🐾 Pets: Strictly not pet-friendly. Like all alocasias, this one is toxic to cats and dogs. Its sap contains calcium oxalate crystals, which cause severe irritation of the mouth and throat, drooling, and digestive issues if chewed. Keep it completely out of reach of pets!

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

  • Bright plant terrarium (an absolutely ideal and protected environment for such a small rarity, where it can enjoy constant and high air humidity).

  • Bright and warm spot near a direct air humidifier.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Height: 10-15 cm (young plant)

  • Pot diameter: 10.5 cm

⚠️ Note and reality check about young plants: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and the intensity of its leaf waviness may vary slightly. It is extremely important to keep in mind that you are receiving a young plant! Small, rare plants require much gentler and more patient care than mature, large specimens. It is important to know nature’s secrets: alocasias, especially at an early age, very often sacrifice their old leaves for the new ones! It is completely normal that as a new, beautiful leaf grows, the bottom leaf slowly turns yellow and withers – don’t panic and simply carefully cut it off at the base. When repotting this plant, be sure to use an extremely airy and loose aroid soil mix (generously mixed with perlite, fine orchid bark, and sphagnum moss) so its sensitive roots can breathe freely, protecting them from the risk of rot!

Pickleball Pandemonium: A Hilarious Mother’s Day Misadventure with a Top-Notch Paddle Set
Color: Blue*4
Let me spin you a tale of how I, the hopeful boyfriend of my girlfriend with two adorable-but-feral nieces, ages 3 and 5, tried to be the cool guy on Mother’s Day with this USAPA-approved fiberglass pickleball set. Spoiler: it was less “heartwarming family moment” and more “backyard dodgeball with extra chaos.” This set, though? Absolute gold for adults—just don’t hand it to toddlers unless you’re ready to star in a slapstick comedy. So, picture me, all bright-eyed, pulling out this slick pickleball set at my girlfriend’s sister’s place. The kit comes with paddles, balls, and a good-quality case that’s sturdy enough to survive a trip through an airport baggage claim. I’m thinking I’ll set up a mini court, show the nieces what pickleball’s all about, and maybe earn some “best boyfriend” points. In my head, it’s all slow-mo high-fives and cute kid giggles. In reality? I handed those paddles to the girls, and it was like arming gremlins with medieval weaponry. These paddles are *chef’s kiss* for grown-ups. The fiberglass surface gives a satisfying pop when you hit the ball, and the handles? Oh, they feel nice—comfy grips with just the right amount of cushion, like shaking hands with a friendly lumberjack. Plus, they’ve got some good weight to them—not so heavy you’re winded, but enough heft to feel like you’re swinging something legit. The balls are what you’d expect: standard, bouncy, perforated orbs that do their job without any surprises. But for kids? Disaster. The 5-year-old, who I’m calling Paddle-Wielding Warlord, grabs her paddle and swings it like she’s auditioning for *Gladiator*. First shot, she nearly takes out her 3-year-old sister, Tiny Catapult, who’s just vibing with her own paddle. I’m ducking near-headshots, yelling, “Gentle! Gentle!” while my girlfriend’s cackling so hard she’s got tears. Then there’s the ball situation. I lob one softly, thinking they’ll tap it back. Nope. Warlord yeets it across the yard like she’s gunning for the moon. It’s gone—probably chilling in the neighbor’s birdbath. Tiny Catapult, not one to be outdone, hurls her entire paddle, which spins through the air like a rogue frisbee. Flowerpots are in peril, my girlfriend’s sister is shouting about her azaleas, and I’m just trying to keep the nieces from turning this into a full-on demolition derby. The case, bless its durable heart, sat there safely holding the spare balls, mocking my poor life choices. Later, when the kids were safely bribed with ice cream and the adults got a turn, the set shone. My girlfriend and I rallied in the driveway, and those paddles felt like an extension of my arm—smooth, balanced, and ready for action. The USAPA approval means you could take these to a real court and not look like a chump. But for the toddler crowd? Yikes. Get those foam kiddie paddles that can’t double as blunt objects. This set’s a 10/10 for adult fun, with a bomb-proof case and gear that feels pro-level. Just don’t expect the under-6 crew to do anything but turn your yard into a *Mad Max* reenactment.

Great for the amateur player
Color: Black*2
Good paddles, especially for people new to the game. Much better than the mediocre padel’s and not far off from the carbon fiber ones.

Great Value. COMES WITH INDOOR BALLS
Color: Black*4
very very good value for the 4 rackets and balls. i’ve held good rackets and very bad rackets and these are pretty decent rackets and if you’re play casually or just competitively with friends these are great and will not hold you back especially if you’ve been playing for less than 3 months. I do plan on upgrading to a better racket soon but I will 100% keep these to bring for my friends to use. I will say they come with indoor balls so I would recommend getting some nice outdoor franklin balls if you’re playing outside. other than that I am very happy with it and would buy it again if I could go back in time and needed my first racket again!
