Zinnia - Blue Ribbon Bouquet - Zinnia elegans

Annual - Vigorous dahlia-flowered Blue Ribbon Zinnias are wonderful cut flowers for summer long bouquets, and bees and butterflies of all kinds love to visit them. Blooming nonstop with long stemmed, densely petaled fully double flowers, they will stand up to summer rain and heat. Their radiant clear colors delight the eye in warm scarlet, bright orange, sunny yellow, pure white, rose pink and rich magenta. Plants bloom early and last all season until frost.

Soil & Water: Zinnias grow readily in ordinary garden soil in full sun. For large and abundant flowers, thin before seedlings get crowded; adequate spacing and regular, even watering helps keep zinnias productive and discourages mildew. Pick when flower blossoms first open and petals are tight for longest vase life. Cut long stems well back into the plant to keep plants branching low and producing best blooms.

Planting & Growing:To Start Directly in the Garden: Sow seeds in a well-worked seedbed in full sun when the danger of frost has passed and weather is above 50°F both day and night. Space seeds 2-3”, cover about 1/2” and gently firm soil. Keep evenly moist while awaiting germination. Thin seedlings to 8 - 10” apart when large enough to handle. To Start Early Indoors: Four weeks before the last frost date, sow seeds 1/2” deep and 2-3” apart in containers of seed starting mix. Keep warm and moist and provide a strong light source. Feed with half-strength fertilizer every 2 weeks. Just as soon as seedlings have several sets of true leaves, and weather is above 50°F both day and night, transplant outdoors about 8 - 10” apart.

We figured it out!
Color: 6PC-Peanut Butter-Orange, Color: 6PC-Peanut Butter-Orange
My pup wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first. It did take me a few minutes to get him to figure it out. I just kinda toyed with it like I would a rope or a toy around his mouth and once he grabbed it, I pulled it away making him wanting to grab it again and take it from me... Once he finally took hold of it firmly, that was it, we were off and running! It's definitely a super hard chew toy, so I surely would not recommend it for a soft jaw dog. But if your dog is like mine, with super crushing power, then this is the right fit!

Dog did not like it
Color: 6PC-Beef-Red
Not impressed at all. My dog is a toy and bone hoarder. She does not touch these bones at all, it sits there all day while she grabs all her other “treasures”
