What is L.S.P?
- Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) is a feature of CYBEX car seats that absorbs impact forces of certain side-impact crashes and directs these forces into the energy-absorbing shell of the car seat and away from the child’s sensitive neck area. By extending the L.S.P. system on the side of your car seat facing the door, this feature takes the initial brunt of the force and helps keep your child safer in the event of a near side impact.
- *Car seats with L.S.P. extended to see a reduction in near side-impact forces on the baby by up to 25% when compared to the same car seat without L.S.P. extended.
Benefits of a Load Leg Base
- A load leg is a structural element that is integrated into the base of a car seat. It extends down to the vehicle floor and helps to distribute the crash forces away from the child by transferring the crash energy to the vehicle’s floor. These are pretty doggone nice shelves and I appreciate the fact that they are not made of solid particle board. Yes they are made of an engineered product, but they are lightweight and strong…and look better than particle board products and more costly than their actual price.
Easy installation system with the bracket…not fussy like some are.
An especially thoughtful touch is the variety of hardware that is included. Also a tiny level for use when installing them. What? …So they can be installed correctly? I was pleasantly surprised by this inclusion.

If the set screws were white the shelves would be perfect.

I'd give 4 1/2 if there was one. The shelves thwmself are nice I just don't like the visible little black set screws. The shelves themself look great and are not wobbly at all if you install correctly. I purposely installed the bracket upside down because of the little black setting screws; I didnt want them showing because the shelves are above eye level and the screws are black and I didn't want them showing. But that made the shelf lean amd wobbly so I turned them back over the way they are supposed to be and that made them level and sturdy. I guess I'll paint the little screws.

Kind of on the smaller side but for the price it’s just fine. Easy to install with just a screw driver if you can miss a stud, else you’ll need a drill. Strong enough to hold what a normal person would put on a shelf that size. No worries and it looks great
