Direct seed with 1/2" spacing for baby greens, or 2-3 seeds every 9-12" for head lettuce, thinning to one plant per clump at 3-4" tall. Can also be transplanted (start seeds 3-4 weeks before planting). Tolerant of frosts but not freezes. Temperatures above 80ºF before or during germination may cause dormancy. Best for late spring and early fall.
