Germination Guide:

• Prepare a very free draining mixture of vermiculite and coconut coir or similar substrate
• Very light scarify the outside of the seeds with a nail file or similar to allow water to penetrate
• Soak seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours
• Sow seeds about 2.5cm deep
• Losely cover with a plastic bag and place in a warm spot near a sunny window
• Use a heatmat if nighttime temperatures likely to drop - eg in early spring when heating goes off
• Keep moist but not wet  - best to water from the bottom by having seeds tray inside a waterproof container.
• Germination usually takes 4-8 weeks
• Pot on to individual posts once large enough to handle

TOP TIP! Don't use all your seeds in the same tray just in case rot sets in.
