Care & tips Ficus Altissima - 100cm
Caring for Ficus Altissima on stem is not higher mathematics. However, make sure you know about the right location and care to enjoy this plant for a long time to come.
Water requirements of Ficus Altissima - 100cm
Ficus Altissima likes slightly moist soil, but make sure you don't overwater it. This can stick to the roots and cause root rot. So first feel the soil by rooting deeply with two fingers. If it is still damp, it is better to wait before watering again. Has the plant been repotted? Then always use a moisture meter!
Light requirements of Ficus Altissima - 100cm
Ficus Altissima prefers a bright spot. This way, the plant stays at its best. Try to avoid many hours of direct sunlight, as this can be too hot on the leaves. If Ficus Altissima stands in a too dark place, it will show this by not producing new leaves or by dropping its leaves. In this case, move the plant to a lighter spot to help it recover.
Is Ficus Altissima - 100cm toxic?
Yes, the sap released when pruning Ficus is slightly toxic and can be irritating to the skin. Therefore, place the plant at a safe distance from small children and pets.
