This banana does not produce fruit, but it will produce jealous gazes from your nosy neighbors! In fact you could even plant a row of Rojo Bananas as a privacy screen to block those nosy neighbors out! For a banana hedge, plant your Rojo banana plants about 5 feet apart. Rojo Bananas prefer moist soil. In fact, these plants can even grow in wet conditions.

Water deeply 1 to 2 times per week for you plant to be at its healthiest. Bananas thrive in full sun, but can tolerate part sun as well.
