This particular species is a heavy feeder and does prefer slightly cooler temperatures, which makes it a perfect candidate as an indoor houseplant.

Anthurium decipiens care:

This Anthurium plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out about halfway before watering, taking care to not allow your Anthurium to sit in excess water for an extended period of time.  Provide your Anthurium plant with plenty of medium to bright indirect light.
