  While the species is native to Southeast Asia (specifically the Solomon Islands), the 'Global Green' variety is a specialized cultivar bred for its unique leaf patterns.
  
  Like most Epipremnum aureum cultivars, the 'Global Green' almost never flowers indoors. In its rare mature form in the wild, it produces a small, unremarkable creamy-white spathe.
