They are the red variety of the Philodendron Erubescens. This climbing tropical plant has a distinct appearance with wine-red stalks, green shining leaves and red coloured support leaves. The leaves often display a copper colouring on the underside.
Philodendron erubescens are easy to care.
These indoor plants thrive in presence of bright filtered or indirect light. Water them moderately less. And allow their soil to get dry before applying water. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained and sandy. Ideal temperature for their healthy growth must be 15 – 30 degree Celsius. In terms of feeding, use organic fertilizer and apply them once every month, especially during spring and summer.
