Our Large Earth Augers Are Versatile
Heavy Duty is the most rugged and versatile option for the quart pot auger. The heavy-duty digging tip is a replaceable auger tip that will help you tackle the most challenging digging tasks without damaging the main auger. The leading portion of the digging tip also has replaceable auger blades (included with purchase). This allows for an easier and more cost-efficient way to keep your landscaping auger performing in top condition for decades.
About Heavy-Duty Augers
The landscaping auger's Heavy Duty option can fit various drills or powerheads with the help of one of our hex adapters which is included with this purchase. In addition, the 5-inch auger bit will fit any drill with a threaded end, such as a Stihl® BT45 when purchased with a threaded adapter (sold separately). Our heavy-duty augers feature 2 holes with pins for mounting and will fit auger powerheads with a 1-inch shaft.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Power Planter Auger comes ready to use. You do NOT need an adapter to connect our augers to your standard power drill with a 1/2-inch chuck. You should only buy the Heavy Duty 1/2" Hex Auger Adapter separately if you need a replacement or want a backup.
