Avonia albissima is now Anacampseros albissima, and is commonly known as the White Anacampseros, it is a small succulent plant species that belongs to the family Anacampserotaceae. It is native to South Africa and is appreciated for its attractive appearance, caudex, and compact growth habit.
Avonia albissima forms low-growing rosettes of tightly clustered leaves. The rosettes are made up of thick, fleshy leaves that are typically green with a powdery white or silvery coating, giving the plant its distinctive appearance. The powdery coating helps to protect the plant from excessive sunlight and reflects light, reducing water loss.
The leaves of Avonia albissima are typically oval-shaped or elongated and can have slightly pointed tips. The edges of the leaves may exhibit a reddish or pinkish hue, especially under bright light conditions. The plant remains relatively small, with rosettes reaching a diameter of about 3 to 4 inches (7 to 10 centimeters). It also grows a very impressive caudex!
Avonia albissima is a perennial plant that produces delicate, star-shaped flowers that can vary in color. The flowers emerge on slender stalks above the rosettes and can be pink, purple, or white, adding a touch of beauty when in bloom. The flowering period usually occurs during the warmer months.
In terms of care, Avonia albissima is a relatively easy-to-care-for succulent. It prefers well-draining soil and requires infrequent watering. Like other succulents, it is susceptible to root rot if overwatered, so it is important to let the soil dry out between waterings. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some shade.
Avonia albissima can be grown both indoors and outdoors, depending on the climate. In colder regions, it is often cultivated as a houseplant or in containers that can be brought indoors during winter. It can also be planted in rock gardens, succulent arrangements, or as ground cover in suitable outdoor conditions.
Overall, Anacampseros albissima is a charming and visually appealing succulent with its silvery leaves and delicate flowers. It is a great addition to succulent collections or as a decorative accent in various settings.

Works well for DIY
Worked well for building bookshelf. Wish it maybe had som little pads on the back as some times it would slide a bit, but if I tightened it more it would dent the wood slightly. Overall very easy to use and worked well for its intended use.

Good addition to my jig collection!!!
Size: 9 Holes
It works great! Would be better if it had a Brad style drill bit instead of the ones that came with it.

Drill bits not sharp
Size: 9 Holes
Just used the shelf pin hole jig for the first time. Seams to be a decent product. The failure with this product is the all too Repetitive China Factor. As everything they make to be sold in America has that inherent built-in factor for failure. It starts with the drill bit. Not sharp at all wich causes you to add more pressure than is needed, which causes the depth collar to slide on the drill bit, because it is made of cheap metal. Be very careful. After about 8-10 holes check your depth.
