Plant Care
Light: Loves full sun to bright indirect light. The more sun it gets, the more intense the red—give it a sunny windowsill or patio spotlight.
Watering: Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. This one stores water in its stacked leaves, so overwatering is a no-go. Less is more, especially in winter.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–26°C. Can tolerate cooler nights (down to 5°C) if dry, but protect from frost.
Potting: Our Savvy Succa mix is perfect—gritty, well-draining, and ideal for this desert-loving beauty.
Hot tips: Keep slightly root-bound to encourage colour and tidy shape. Easy to propagate—snip a stem, let it callous, and pop it into dry soil. Great in mixed succulent bowls or as a solo statement.
