LOCATION & LIGHT:

This is a high light plant, like all Ficus plants.

It will do best directly in front of a south or west-facing window. Figs will not tolerate low light conditions.

WATER:

A thorough watering when the soil is completely dry is ideal. It's best to check in on this plant weekly to assess the soil's moisture. Once the soil is sufficiently dry, time for a drink! Observe how your fig responds after you’ve watered. If your fig is allowed to remain completely dry for an extended period of time, it might lose a few leaves the next time you give it a drink.l.

What I like most about it is it doesn't tear my hand up like the other brand did after he had been chewing it for awhile. While it is wearing down some it seems to do it in a more mild manner. Since we haven't had it long I would give this 3.5 stars because I don't know if it will last as long and not sure f it is just the shape that has him more mellow with it.
