Philodendron Pedatum is the foundational species behind some of the plant world's most celebrated cultivars, including P. 'Florida Ghost', and of course P. 'Florida Beauty Variegated'.
All of our P. pedatum are grown in house, from cuttings off of our 15 year old parent plant and are NOT grown from Tissue Culture.
Native to Central and South America, this climbing philodendron features deeply lobed, arrow-shaped leaves that develop their characteristic pedatum form as the plant matures. This species thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers consistently moist but well-draining soil. Its vining growth habit makes it ideal for trellises, moss poles, or hanging baskets, where it can climb and display its stunning foliage. With proper care, Philodendron Pedatum becomes a striking focal point that showcases the genetic heritage of modern hybrid varieties. Perfect for collectors seeking the original genetics and plant enthusiasts who appreciate botanical history, this rare species adds both beauty and significance to any indoor garden.
