Anthurium RVDP x Carla x BVEP – Seedlings

Introducing our newest batch of seedlings, grown from our own plants. Although the seeds were harvested a few weeks ago, we held off listing them until now to ensure only strong, healthy seedlings remain. All runts and non-germinated seeds were eliminated, so you will receive a robust, healthy seedling ready to grow.

The mother plant is the original Anthurium RVDP (Red Vein Dark Phoenix) — the true original clone from Mr. Jeera of Siam Flora in Thailand. This particular clone was hand-selected in person during the Bangkok Plant Show for its exceptional red venation, dark foliage, and overall structure.

The pollen donor is a mutated Carlablackiae x BVEP from Tezula Plants, also personally selected during our visit to their nursery in Florida, USA. Unlike the standard Carla x BVEP, this plant expresses a wide sinus, and several leaves show a flat-top sinus, giving it a unique silhouette. Its newest leaf is among the largest we have, demonstrating its potential for impressive size.

What we hope to see from this hybrid

Our best-case expectations for this cross are:

• Red veins and dark foliage inherited from RVDP
• Wide sinus and sculpted form from Carla x BVEP
• Strong growth and excellent texture from both parents

These seedlings are still young, but the genetic pairing is extremely promising.
