This one of a kind Agave cultivar has a dramatic contrast of yellow stripes that run all the way down to the center of each of the leaves in between the gray green leaf margins. They can reach about 10" in diameter and will produce numerous offsets at the plant base producing dense clumps.

Growth Rate

Agave Rum Runner has a slow growth rate.

Flowering

This one-of-a-kind succulent blooms in the spring and produces golden-yellow flowers.

Watering and Feeding

For the first month or two, water Agave 'Rum Runner' every 4-5 days. Once they mature, water 2-3 times every month during the summer, or more if you stay in a low desert area. During the growing season, fertilize every two weeks with a standard liquid fertilizer.

Drought tolerant when established. Needs well-draining soil. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost to prevent possible scarring. Water regularly in hot season.

Soil

This agave species grows best in well-drained soil. Use regular succulent or cacti potting soil.

Hardiness

It prefers warm spring and summer temperatures and belongs to the hardiness zone of 9b to 11b.

Light

Agave Rum Runner grows best when exposed to full to light shade sun exposure. A window facing south or southeast is ideal.

Propagation

This succulent is easily propagated from offshoots. It is the quickest and most reliable method of producing agave plants.

Agave 'Rum Runner' is a great option for a houseplant. It looks adorable in a brightly lit area or when planted outdoors in a container garden.

Perfect for active dogs
This is a must-have if your dog loves to fetch. It throws the ball far with very little effort and keeps your hands clean—no more slobbery chuckit balls. Lightweight, durable, and makes playtime much more fun (and less tiring for me!).

Way better than the M size for us
Like most people that have dogs I first went with the M size or Tennis ball size (about 2.5") chuckit for my 65-70 lbs Lab. After having that for a while and my dogs' evolution from liking to chase the ball to wanting to catch it, I started seeing how the M size could cause some life threating problems for my pup. I was on the fence for several weeks when I came across this option that included a 3" ultra ball as well as a 3" fuzzy tennis ball like ball. These balls can fly so much farther with less effort and my furry friend seeming to like them more than the 2.5 inch. It also seems to fit their mouth better allowing them to enjoy 'the game' (you lost by the way) much more. If you have a larger dog or your dog has a big mouth, please trust me when I say skip the 2.5" M size balls. You and your dog will haves much more fun with this 3" size

Chuck it ball launcher
This is great! I have a blue healer that loves it. She will play fetch with the ball all day long. The launcher is easier on my shoulder. I can throw the ball twice as far and when she brings the ball back I can grab it with the launcher without touching a spit covered ball. Awesome buy!

My favorite pimple patches
Model: Hydrocolloid, Size: 102 Count (Pack of 2)
I love these pimple patches!! They are so invisible on my face and perform decent under makeup, they're super thin so you don't see the bulky outline of the patch, and they are so durable! I don't have any lifting on the edges of the patch throughout the whole day. SOOO easy to use with the way you can peel half of it at a time, so you don't have to worry as much about getting it stuck on your fingers before putting it on your face. This two pack lasts forever too!! Definitely getting your money's worth.
