It can be used from birth and can be folded with the stroller attached for easy portability. To use it, you first remove the standard seat fabrics and then attach the Nest fabrics onto the frame. 

Functionality: It acts as a lie-flat bassinet for newborns, but also has an upright position. It's designed to be a smooth, protective, and cosy transition for the baby as they grow out of the bassinet stage but aren't ready for a forward-facing seat.
