Philodendron mayoi, the Brazilian climber, brings its deeply pinnately lobed, palm-like leaf form with broad rounded lobes. The cross integrates these two lobing systems into a hybrid leaf form that is rounder than pure Florida and more dissected than pure mayoi, carrying the Florida Beauty variegation across the restructured leaf shape. Variegation is unpredictable across successive leaves.
