Get ready to smarten up your plant collection with a unique and eye-catching trailing succulent addition - the Huernia procumbens 'Crested,' a vibrant variety of the Huernia procumbensHuernia procumbens product,  is a fascinating succulent that is native to South Africa.

The crested variety of Huernia procumbens is a small, low-growing succulent plant that forms a mat of fleshy, green leaves that are covered in tiny hairs. Its leaves are triangular in shape and have a distinctive crested pattern of raised veins that give them a textured appearance. Its elongated stem which is in a sprawling manner can grow up to 6 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Its size makes it an ideal succulent for small spaces or for optimal growing conditions.

This Huernia plant produces small, star-shaped flowers in the summer that are yellow or reddish-brown in color and have a strong, unpleasant odor that attracts flies. The flowers usually last for a few days before falling off, and this crested variety may produce several blooms throughout the blooming season.

To care for the Crested Huernia Procumbens, it is important to provide it with well-draining soilGo to soil cactus mix blend 1 gal 4 qt cacti succulent dirt compost growing media and a pot with drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating around the roots. It prefers bright sunlight for at least 4-6 hours daily but can also tolerate some direct sunlight. This Huernia should be watered sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can cause the plant to rot, so it is important to be careful not to water it too often. It can also benefit from occasional fertilization with a balanced natural fertilizer (NPK) with a ratio of 5-10-5 during the growing season in the spring.

Propagation of the Crested succulent can be done by stem cuttings or by division. This succulent is relatively low-maintenance and can be grown indoors or outdoors in warm, dry climates in USDA zones 9-11. However, it is important to protect it from frost and extreme temperatures, as this can damage or kill the Huernia plants.

Weights are great, the stand is cheap but good
I bought this for our little home gym. The weights are accurate and comfortable to use. I did read reviews that said the plastic stand came broken for a lot of customers. I did not personally have this issue so maybe they upgraded their packaging. I can say it is a little flimsy but it works for me just fine and I don't plan on returning.

The stand DOES work! Amazing weight set! Perfect for beginners.
Style: 18lb, set of 6 with stand (Spring Bloom), Style: 18lb, set of 6 with stand (Spring Bloom)
When I got these for my beginner Pilates workouts, I absolutely loved everything about them except for the stand/rack (keep reading, the rack is actually awesome). The colors are so vibrant and beautiful and the material feels really good. The weights are 2lb, 3lb, and 4lb - this is perfect for a beginner like me who has never any used weights before. 4 lbs sounds light until you do your first 20 bicep curls ever - that’s when I realized they are perfect for my beginner level to build strength without hurting myself or flaring up my previous back and hip injuries. They have the hexagon type shape so they don’t roll away when you set them down. WELL I just couldn’t understand why the stand was pictured as an “A” shape and mine was “stuck” straight up and down so the weights had to be man handled to get them out of the rack. Or so I thought. Keep reading - I went back and I read through all the other reviews and didn’t see any other complaints about the stand, so I decided I had to take another look at mine. Well it turns out it was a user error. Lol. I wrestled with it trying to get a screwdriver under the handle to see if the screws needed to be loosened in order for it to slant in the “A” shape so the weights would come out more easily. I also tried to pull it really hard. Then I finally just grabbed one side of the stand and tried unscrew it to see if I could take it apart and rebuild it better. To my surprise - each side EASILY turned and clicked into place - with the weights FACING OUTWARD instead of inward. There’s plenty of space to get them out of the rack now! Watch the video I posted with this review to see how easy it is. Lol how embarrassing. But I know I can’t be the only one who thought they got a defective stand. Lol.
