A hybrid from the Araceae family, the 'Florida Beauty Green's' ancestry is native to the rainforests of Central and South America. This rare plant has big, glossy, dark green, uniquely shaped leaves and contrasting red stems the Florida Beauty Green is sure to stand out in your space!
Being that it's from a tropical rainforest environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, slightly moist soil, bright indirect light and can climb/vine up to 2 - 5 ft. indoors. This makes them great to pot in hanging baskets and place in a brightly lit room! Over time this plant may lose some leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle. Pruning back the stems by cutting right above the node will promote less leggy, more compact growth if it starts to look somewhat leggy.
