Chiba Green Organic Edamame is known for its plump beans and can be harvested roughly a week earlier than its counterparts. Featuring 2-3" dark green fuzzy pods, the immature soybeans can be harvested as soon as the beans are to your preferred size and have a high rate of 3 bean pods compared to other varieties. Can be grown in almost any climate!

Chiba Green Organic Edamame is an immature soybean that has large, crisp pods with exceptionally delicious beans that have a rich, nutty flavor. Each of the dark green fuzzy pods usually averages 3 beans per pod and can be planted relatively thick for a good crop. While you can start in seed trays, these legumes can also be direct-seeded. Similar to the growth habit of bush beans, this low-maintenance crop needs at least 6 hours of full sun and will flourish in warmer soil so you may consider pre-warming your planting area for 7-10 days prior to sowing your edamame Seeds.

Hailing originally from China over 2,000 years ago, edamame has since become a staple in Japanese cuisine. In the early 1900s edamame was introduced to the U.S. and got very popular in the '70s during the organic food movement and is still enjoyed today.

Glycine max. 82 days to maturity. Open-pollinated. 1,900 Seeds per lb.

Work great...cheaper than the other big brand
Size: 6 7/8 Inch, Style: Plates
Cheaper in price but not in quality. I like these better than the big brand. They work well and are super sturdy....Obviously you are not going to serve a huge meal on a paper plate...regardless of how sturdy they are. Paper plates are great for smaller meals...lighter meals...sandwiches chips party foods...kids stuff. I am a repeat customer and will always choose Genuine Joe paper products first!
