A creamy-white beauty for every corner of your home

Summary: The Marble Queen is a variegated pothos with creamy-white marbled leaves that brighten shelves, hanging baskets, and desks—perfect for German apartments and European homes seeking low-maintenance greenery.
✨ Why You'll Love the Marble Queen
- Elegant white-and-green marbled foliage that instantly lifts any interior
- Thrives in a wide range of light conditions—ideal for city flats
- Fast-growing trailing or climbing vine for lush jungle vibes
- Air-purifying qualities for fresher indoor spaces
- Compact size (P12, H25) makes it easy to style in smaller rooms
🌞 Light & Placement
This pothos prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its striking variegation. It tolerates lower light, but the creamy-white patterns may fade. Perfect for shelves near east or west-facing windows in European apartments.
💧 Water & Humidity
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. The Marble Queen loves moderate humidity but adapts well to average European indoor conditions. Mist occasionally in dry winter months to keep foliage fresh.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Use a well-draining aroid mix with added perlite or coco coir. Repot every 1–2 years to encourage healthy root growth. P12 size pots are perfect for starter plants or gifting.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Not pet-safe: Like other Epipremnums, Marble Queen is toxic if ingested by cats, dogs, or small children. Keep out of reach of curious paws and mouths.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
A vigorous grower that can trail over 1.5 m with time. Train it to climb a moss pole for larger leaves. Propagates easily from stem cuttings in water or soil—perfect for sharing with friends.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
In winter, growth slows—reduce watering but keep humidity steady. In summer, growth surges; fertilise monthly with a balanced houseplant feed.
🐛 Common Issues
- Yellowing leaves → usually overwatering
- Loss of variegation → too little light
- Crispy leaf edges → air is too dry
🧬 Botanical Background
Epipremnum aureum, also called Devil’s Ivy, is native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The Marble Queen variety is prized for its unique marbled foliage and has become a timeless favourite in European homes.
