The Kentia Palm grows naturally in Australia.

Properties
The palm is also known as the Howea Forsteriana and is one of the strongest palm species. The palm therefore needs little care and can withstand a knock. The plant is not poisonous to children and pets. The plant has a pot size of 27cm.

Air purifying
The palm is a strong air purifier and is able to remove some dirty particles from the air and convert them into clean air. You can spray the plant with water, but this is not necessary. It ensures that the dust is removed from the leaves and the plant can better absorb light and purify the air.

Location
If you are looking for a plant for a dark spot in your home or office, this palm is perfect! This plant can handle a dark spot. About four to five meters from a south-facing window or close to 3 meters from a north-facing window. But be careful: all plants need light, and so does the Kentia Palm.

Water gift
The Kentia palm needs regular water and is very easy to maintain thanks to the Beautanic Hydropot with water reservoir and water meter. In the summer the plant is a little thirstier than in the winter. Keep an eye on the water meter. Pour 1.5 liters of water over the volcanic granules when the blue meter in the water meter is low.
