Sunflower - Bright Bandolier - Helianthus annuus

Annual - This exceptionally ornamental mixture of sunny yellow and warm burnished mahogany is a beautifully balanced palette of classic sunflower shades. The easy-to-grow plants bear magnificent big flowers that frame the summer garden with plenty to cut for perfectly contrasting bouquets of clear colors with pretty chocolate centers. After Bright Bandolier's heat and drought-tolerant flowers finish blooming, they offer nutritious seed treats for fall songbirds.

Soil & Water:Make several sowings 3 weeks apart to have a succession of bloom. Keep soil moist and well-weeded and protect seedlings from hungry birds with netting or plastic berry baskets, removing before plants get crowded. No extra amendment is needed unless soil is poor and could benefit from a pelleted, slow release balanced fertilizer.

Planting & Growing:To Plant Outdoors: Plant in full sun in good garden soil when weather is warm and settled both day and night and all danger of frost has passed. Poke seeds into well-worked soil 1/2" deep and 4 - 5" apart. Press soil firmly over seeds and keep moist until germination in 8 - 10 days. Thin to 12 - 15" apart so plants have ample room to grow. To Start Indoors: Several weeks before the last frost date, sow seeds 1/2" deep in individual pots of well-drained seed starting mix. Keep moist and provide a strong light source until ready to plant outside when seedlings are large enough to handle. When weather has warmed into the 50°F range, transplant 12 - 15" apart in full sun, disturbing the roots as little as possible.

POLYESTER?!?! So i just bought several of these. Nice and big and fluffy, looked very clean, very nice. Cats instantly were scared/curious. The back of the skin, the wool, all looked nice, and then I noticed it had a tag on it... The tag says... 100% POLYESTER! What?!?!? This is supposed to be New Zealand Sheep Skin pelt! Shouldnt be any Polyester at all. So, just before I was about to return it, i did a small burn test. I cut off a small bunch of hair and burned it. The fire tried to light but it quickly extinguished itself. And the smell... yes... the smell told me it is REAL WOOL and the fact the fire went out right away also confirms this is not oil based. THIS IS REAL, This is NOT Polyester. I guess also a lot of ppl are returning because of the tag, so these are at a HUGE DISCOUNT!!! BUY THEM UP!!! They also came in vacuum packed bags, looked nice and kept very nice. These are excellent! See my photos, the tag, the burned bunch of hair... fire went out, i tried it three times, fire kept instantly going out... smells organic like animal hair when burned, not like oil/polyester. ENJOY!!! I PAID FOR THESE, I was not given anything here!
