Warm Season (Tender) Perennial Vine can be grown as an annual

Full Sun

Vigorous vine cannot take frost

Best in Ground or Raised Beds or Large Containers

Dioecious -- separate male and female plants (fruits only on female)

Pest and Disease Resistant (far more so than cucumbers)

Tindora is widely eaten in India and parts of Asia, and is naturalized in many places of the world such as Florida. In climates with freezes it can be grown as annual just like a cucumber and does well that way. It is tougher and more pest and disease resistant than cucumbers.

The super young fruit is a delicious crunchy, cucumber-like snack, albeit quite small. The larger young fruit is harvested and can be eaten just like a cucumber. Very nice texture that we greatly favor over regular cucumbers which can get a little slimy. However, there is a bit of cucumber bitterness in tindora, like older varieties of cucumber.

In many parts of the world, the cucumber-like young fruits are cooked in various dishes. We have yet to try this, but I would imagine it would really shine when treated as such.

Unlike regular cucumbers that get inedibly bitter upon age, tindora fruits pretty much always stay edible and eventually the ripe fruit taste like a bland, low sugar persimmon to us and can be eaten fresh.

The only real drawback to these plants we have found is the male and female, dioecious nature of the vines. Seedlings will yield approximately half male, half female plants. Fruit, of course, can only be made on the female plants. Viable seeds can only be had with both male and female plants growing together. Whether or not female plants will fruit, we do not yet know. If so, cuttings could be made of female plants to ensure production of fruit.

These seeds are hard to come by, and supply is limited.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.

Good But
Format: Kindle
A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her. The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.

Sweet read
Format: Kindle
A sweet steamy read of an omega who finds her worth and finds the guys that are willing to show her. The story had lovable characters with low angst and a HEA.

Short and sweet
Format: Kindle
Beautifully written, I was worried when it was labelled as a novella at the start, really used to those missing info and jumping forward to complete the story or not having complete character growth, not to worry! Author gave enough time to fall in love (and hate) with everyone, can't wait to read Wendy's story I feel like she will be the badass we all love!
