Bringing the next generation in safety, innovation, and enhanced comfort, the MESA MAX is designed with thoughtful details and robust features for the ultimate car seat solution. Its sturdy build with included load leg, anti-rebound+ panel, and infinite adjustable headrest will give parents reassurance every ride.

UPPAbaby is taking safety to the max with its newest infant car seat.

The MESA Max builds on the MESA series by adding two leading safety features: a steel-reinforced load leg and an anti-rebound panel that limit movement and rotation of the seat in a crash.

Studies show that car seats with load legs reduce the risk of head injury by nearly 50 percent. The MESA Max also features a larger headrest for added side impact protection, and its carry handle can also be used in a new fourth position to prevent rebounding.

The MESA Max also introduces features like an extra-large UPF canopy for full coverage, side ventilation for added airflow, an infinite adjustable headrest to customize fit, and a contoured infant insert for added newborn support.

The base of the MESA Max installs in a matter of seconds, thanks to self-tensioning LATCH connectors and three indicators that turn green to signal that a safe installation is complete. For taxis and travel, the seat can be installed without the base with European-style seatbelt guides that double as harness holders when you're helping baby in and out.

The MESA Max pairs with all UPPAbaby strollers, connecting the UPPAbaby CRUZ and VISTA strollers without adapters.

While all colors of the MESA Max are free of flame-retardant chemicals in the fabrics and foam, the Greyson and Gregory colors are made with a merino wool, a fabric that's naturally fire-resistant, moisture-wicking and breathable to help control baby's temperature.

Steel-reinforced, adjustable load leg limits forward rotation in a frontal crash, reducing the risk of head and neck injury

• Anti-rebound panel stabilizes the base in a rear-impact collision

• Extra-large UPF canopy adds 43% more coverage than previous MESA canopy and retracts into carrier when not in use

• SmartSecure system uses red-to-green indicators and self-retracting LATCH connectors allow for fast, accurate and easy installation

• Adjustable headrest is reinforced with EPP foam providing added protection

• Connects to all UPPAbaby® strollers, including the VISTA and CRUZ without adapters

• No-rethread, 5-point harness eliminates the need to take apart the harness system as baby grows

• Can be installed using only the seatbelt using secure European-style installation system

• Belt guides also keep harness out of the way while helping baby in and out

• Plush infant insert is contoured to infant's body, providing support up to 11 pounds

• Fourth position on carry handle can function like anti-rebound bar when installing seat without the base

• Fabrics are removable and machine-washable

• Weight capacity: 4 to 35 lbs.

• Height limit: 32"

• Car seat weight: 9.9 lbs

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Great start
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! It's funny but still deals with tough themes, like chronic illness, a serial killer on the loose, and a dash of self-harm. The guys are interesting and distinct, we don't know too much about them yet. It does end on a really terrible cliffhanger but on the bright side the next book is out and I believe the series is complete. I have enjoyed both of these authors separately and this is a great team up!

Fudge!
Format: Kindle
Titles aren’t my strong suit. Sorry not sorry. That ending has me completely frustrated book two isn’t out yet. Just throwing that out there. First thing first, this is a high school book where the lead is under 18. Yea yea she’s about month from being an adult, but I can’t say I would’ve even opened the file if I’d realized. It’s not a smut fest or anything, but there is sexual tension as each party figures out their emotions. That being said, it’s a good book. There are some troubling parts, like how the supes come into their powers at 13, but most of those are dealt with in a way that makes sense. Kian is the exception. His whole arc pisses me off, especially since no one stepped in. Reflecting back on real world situations, ten or so years ago, I can see it happening, but it still makes me sick. Which, I’m sure was the whole damn point. For the most part, Courting Darkness is a fun read. I found myself laughing along with most of the set up. By the time it started getting serious, I’d grown to like the characters enough it held an impact. I’ll be adding book two to my list for when it comes out.

An intriguing story that played out slowly while introducing some unique characters. The story became quite fascinating to read as these same characters provided startling revelations to their lives. As their relationships evolve, more drama and mystery is revealed adding to my fascination. I can’t wait to read more.

Outstanding Story!!!!!!!
Format: Kindle
Oh I loved this story. Sera is such an amazing, fun character. She has so much fire inside of herself. She has humor that makes you laugh with her sassy comments. The guys are fantastic. I don’t feel as if we really have gotten to know who and what they are but they are such a mix of fae. The story is extremely well written and developed. It had me pulled in and didn’t let go. There was so much action, drama, and suspense. Then we get to the ending and goodness there is so much going on. This ending was a major cliffhanger and I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next.
