They are a part of the Marantacae family which also includes marantas, stromanthes, and calatheas.

Make sure you order the right size. I received Small size & not Large. My fault. But, it still fit ok, a little snug, yet it made me feel warm when I went outside. I will be ordering a large size in the near future. Some one else in the family will get the small size item.
