I often get the chicken Sriracha bars, so I thought this is a more economical way to get that bit of protein. However, these are extremely different than the bars. Overall, I'll get the bars any day, but these I really can't stomach. On the spiciness side, I think they're pretty balanced. I really enjoyed the larger Sriracha bars, as they were an excellent combo of spicy, salty, and juicy. Bought these strips under the assumption they'd be the same. Not even close. No detectable salt, only the barest hint of spice (you can sort-of get the spice back if you eat a large chunk and chew it for around a minute), and the flavor when you first stick it in your mouth is dry and interrupted by a weird plastic-like taste for the first ten seconds or so. Since it's food I can't return them. At $40 it's an expensive lesson learned. Go with the bars, not the strips.
