1. How to germinate seeds

1. Should we soak the Salvia seeds overnight for better germination?

No need to soak the seeds in water. Directly we can sow the seeds. But we should keep the seeds moist during the germination.

2. Should we use the seedling tray or direct sow is recommended?

We can maintain the seeds in the tray at the beginning. But when the plant reaches 2 to 3 inches in length it requires some more space to grow. Sowing directly into pot is the best way to cultivate.

3. What is the best season to grow the Salvia?

Salvias will grow quickly in the Winter season. During the cool weather, Salvia’s germination process will be strong.

4. Will it germinate in all seasons?

Salvia seeds are available in all season (Trust Basket) also it will germinate in all the season. But winter is the best time to grow the Salvia.

5. How many days will it take to germinate?

During the germination period, soil should be moist. If we are providing the fertilizer and compost (potting mix) properly it will take 7 to 15 days germinate.

6. Can we keep it indoor after sowing or we should keep it outdoor?

Salvias can grow with less sunlight. Just it needs cool weather and it needs one to two hours sunlight every day.

7. Which container is suitable? Rectangular, round?

Round container is suitable to grow Salvia flower. It acquires more space after germination. Our round container has large space on it. So any plants can grow comfortably in it.

8. What temperature is required?

Salvias need warm weather, which helps to grow quickly. So it can grow quickly in 10 to 21' degree temperature.

2. What potting mix to use?

1. Will the coco peat based potting mix be sufficient or does it need soil only?

If you are using a Potting mix, no need to invest for any other compost. Most of the plants need fertilizer and compost to grow. Potting mix has fertilizer and compost content on it. Also, it keeps soil healthy and moist.

3. How to water ?

1. Does it need a lot of water or very less water?

In summer water everyday. In winter and rainy season you can water once in 3 -4 days.

It can grow quickly with less sunlight also. Salvia does not require more sunlight.

4. Pests?

1. What are the common diseases it gets?

The Salvias can be affected by the Powdery Mildew, Gray Mold, Black Spot and some other diseases. If your plants are suffering from these diseases, we advise using "Neem oil". Neem oil acts as an organic pesticide and it avoids the diseases.

It will take nearly 70 to 80 days to harvest from the seeding.

Secure, clean hose, poor durability.
Style: 20' Rhino Sewer Hose
The connectors, and plugs work great. I operate an Arctic Fox 990 TC. Plugging the ends keeps any residual in the hose and prevents odors and they ends are very easy to operate. I operate an RV in a climate controlled environment, dumping grey water roughly once every day or two for odor control, with occasional trips dumping more like 5-7 day intervals. I only use one of the two hoses and after about 175 cycles the hose split apart near the end. I shortened it at the break and reattached but within another 10 uses the hose split in the middle. Extending and contracting the hose is hard on it and weakens the folds in the plastic the point of failure within certainly less than 200 uses at 50+F temperatures, so don't expect great longevity out of the hose. I image if you dump in cold temperature, subject it to a lot of movement by leaving it hooked up outside the hose could survive even fewer extensions. If you only dump a few times a year it may last you twenty years or more. The good news is that if you pay attention you'll likely notice the hose split before you run the sewage through it, so if you carry a spare you'll at least be able to dump. I ordered another pair so I can always have at least one spare on hand and I figure my failure rate will be about once every 9 months or so. Camco makes other hoses, including an Extreme that likely doesn't pack tightly enough for two 10' sections in my bumper. I don't need crush resistance, I need durability, so the more expensive hose really wouldn't be an improvement for me since I wouldn't be able to carry a backup. I'm guessing all of these hoses will have a similar durability limitation, especially if extended when cold. I'd like to see a slightly softer, more durable material that will still hold it's shape when dumping, but maybe that's not possible with current plastic characteristics. Main take away is make sure you've got a spare sewer hose section on hand if you have a way to store it.

Durable, Reliable RV Sewer Hose
Style: 20' Rhino Sewer Hose
The Camco RhinoFLEX sewer hose appears to be extremely durable and tough — exactly what you want when it comes to RV sewer equipment. This is one product where you absolutely don’t want leaks, and this hose feels solid and dependable. I really like that it comes in two 10‑foot sections. You only have to use the length you actually need to reach the dump station, which keeps things cleaner and easier to manage. The fittings lock on securely, and the hose holds its shape well during use. Overall, a strong, well‑designed sewer hose that gives you confidence every time you dump your tanks.

Easy Install; clear elbow a plus!
Style: 20' Rhino Sewer Hose, Style: 20' Rhino Sewer Hose
This set up was very easy to connect. Strong hooks at the end that attaches to the tank and lock in place. To lock it, I had to use brute force! Omg. :-) I’m very happy with the clear elbow. I had always shut the tank before it was clear, I am sure. One concern, I saw leakage between the clear elbow and the adapter that connects with the sewer line. 30 seconds later the leak healed it seal, so to speak
