Synonyms: Elephant Ear

Light: Full Shade - Category 3-4 (please see our blog on plant light requirements).

Soil: Well draining, moisture retaining - Indoor Mix (please see our blog on soil requirements).

Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season (please see our blog on plant food).

Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings. 

Maintenance: These plants are susceptible to spider mite so keep those leaves wet and treat with pest spray as a preventative at first signs of infestation. Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures of less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring.
