Aloe Vera

Aloe vera, often known as medicinal aloe, is a delightful tropical perennial that grows upright, showcasing rosettes of succulent leaves. The name reflects its rich history in folk medicine. Its lance-shaped green leaves, which can grow up to 18 inches long, are beautifully spotted with white and have charming whitish marginal teeth. Over time, these leaves mature to a lovely gray-green hue, and the plants themselves can reach heights of up to 3 feet.

Flowering typically occurs during summer on mature plants, and it's essential for container plants to be grown in the best conditions, like sunny windows or outdoor spots, to bloom their brightest. You'll find striking orange flowers that form in charming clusters atop sturdy stalks, reaching as high as 3 feet.

Medicinal aloe is treasured for the healing and cosmetic properties found in its sap. This sap is commonly added to many commercial cosmetics, especially in soothing lotions and creams, thanks to its ability to hydrate dry skin. If you gently break a leaf, its sap can be applied directly to burns for soothing relief. While the sap isn’t meant for eating, it has been traditionally used to aid in treating peptic ulcers. Many also affectionately refer to medicinal aloe as burn plant or burn aloe.

Poor durability
Style: Bundle
Stuffing was everywhere in minutes. The fabric is as thin as a carnival prize. I like the idea but it needs better execution.

Been an hour! Update days later

And he is still going at the brown monkey. I am shocked. Usually he's ripped his toy to shreds right now. LOL. Amazing! I'll update this review with the photo and the actual time to destruction. Update: Few days later, he killed it. Not sure where the stuffing came from inside the monkey, but we put it back together and loves to sleep with it. He's working on it again. I am just so amazed. I thought he was gonna finish it tonight, but he got tired since his job wasn't accomplished. LOL

Will NOT last more than a few days!
Style: Bundle, Style: Bundle
Fun for about 2 days then the tearing off of the legs, led to tearing it up to get the stuffing out. The ears and tail do not tear off and that was the first thing to go, then the destruction continued until it was nothing but a pile of fluff and sadness. Not durable at all, but they were happy to destroy it!

Good toy but snags carpet + difficult for small dog
Style: Bundle
My biggest complaint is the Velcro placement. When the arms and legs are detached, the rough (hook) side of the Velcro is on those pieces, so they stick to and snag the carpet. The soft (loop) side is attached to the body of the toy. I really wish this were reversed to prevent snagging. Also, my small 10 lb dog isn’t quite strong enough to detach the arms and legs when they’re fully secured. We have to fasten them loosely to make it manageable for her.

Lasted as long as we could hope for with our dogs. It will probably last longer with ‘normal’ dogs.

S: I LOVE these toys! They are awesome! V: Yeah. Me too. I really enjoy stealing them from you. S: You can barely catch me. You only take them from me when I LET you take them. V: Keep talking like that. I will sit on you. S: That’s a pretty valid threat. You’re sort of fat. V: Finish telling everyone about the toys. S: Oh yeah. So the arms and legs came off like they’re supposed to. Then the stuffing came out. Then the squeaker came out. All I have left is the carcass - but I’m happy with that. I like taking it around the house with me. V: I like sneaking it away and leaving it outside when you aren’t looking. S: Wait. What? V: Yeah, you’re the “smart girl” because you bring the ball back. I’m the one that can be sneaky, though, because no one expects it of me. Don’t be jealous. S: Ball?! Where’s the ball?!
